PRIVACY POLICY ADDENDUM

    Privacy Policy Addendum for Korean Residents

    The Privacy Policy of CELINE is applicable when using the services offered by CELINE. This document is an addendum to the Privacy Policy of CELINE applicable to CELINE customers who reside in Korea.

     

    1. Purpose of Processing Personal Data and Processed Data Items

    CELINE KOREA (“CELINE”) collects your personal data which is collected when you visit our Site ([https://www.celine.com/en-kr]), a CELINE store and when you contact our customer services department.  Please refer to “3.3 The categories of data gathered by CELINE” section of Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding collected items and “3.1 HOW CELINE USES YOUR PERSONAL DATA” and “3.2 Note concerning the processing of personal data for purposes of prevention and management of payment defaults” sections of Privacy Policy for detailed purpose of collection of personal data.

    CELINE MAY PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ENHANCE YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE BY PROVIDING YOU WITH TAILORED PROPOSALS, SERVICES, AND CUSTOMIZED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS. IN THIS REGARD, THE TYPES OF INFORMATION COLLECTED BY CELINE, THE METHODS BY WHICH YOUR INFORMATION IS COLLECTED AND/OR RECEIVED, AND THE PURPOSES FOR WHICH CELINE UTILIZES YOUR INFORMATION ARE OUTLINED AS FOLLOWS:

YOUR PURCHASE DATA WILL BE THEN ANALYZED AND MATCHED WITH PURCHASES YOU HAVE MADE AT OTHER MAISONS WITHIN THE LVMH GROUP WHERE YOU HAVE GIVEN RELEVANT CONSENT. EACH MAISON THAT HAS OBTAINED YOUR CONSENT WILL RECEIVE GENERAL INFORMATION FROM LVMH ABOUT YOUR PREFERENCES

    4. Retention and Use Periods and Destruction of Personal Data

    Unless additional preservation is otherwise required according to the retention period prescribed by the applicable laws, CELINE shall retain and use the personal data for a period not exceeding that necessary for the purposes for which it is processed.  Please refer to the “3.6 Duration of retention” section of Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding retention period.

                  

    In the event the retention period is expired or the purpose of use is achieved, CELINE shall delete the personal data stored in electronic format by using irreversible technical method.  Any printed personal data shall be destroyed by shredding with a shredder or incinerating.
     

    5. Measures Securing Data Safety

    CELINE strives to take all the necessary steps to protect the confidentiality and security of your Data and prevent it from being amended, damaged, destroyed or accessed by unauthorized third parties.  CELINE will ensure in this respect that its Data processors present the same security, technical and organizational guarantees.  Please refer to the “3.8 Security” section of Privacy Policy for detailed information regarding measures securing data safety.

     

    CELINE currently takes the following measures to secure data safety of personal data, including the technical and administrative protection measures under the Personal Information Protection Act.

     

    6. Exercise of Rights

    You may exercise the rights related to the protection of personal information by requesting access to your personal data or the correction, deletion or suspension of processing of your personal data pursuant to the applicable laws and regulations.  You can also withdraw your consent or demand a suspension of the personal data processing at any time.  Please refer to “3.10 Your rights and options” section of the Privacy Policy to see how you can exercise your rights.
